Accessibility Statement

About mobile.de

mobile.de is Germany’s largest vehicle marketplace for listing cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, and e-bikes. The platform is used by both private customers and registered vehicle dealers serving as a “one-stop shop” for not only buying and selling, but also financing and leasing solutions. Founded in 1996, the company is a subsidiary of Adevinta, a global leader in online classified portals.

Our commitment to accessibility

mobile.de cares about diversity and inclusion. Inclusion means that all people are treated equally. This also includes accessibility. Accessibility means that all people have access to buildings and information. It is about removing barriers. Many people have disabilities. For example, they cannot hear or see well. Others have difficulty understanding complex sentences. The goal of accessibility is that everyone can use everything equally.

Accessibility standards

We follow accessibility standards and regulations like the European Accessibility Act (EAA). We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG) from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

We try to explain things simply. We work with people who know about accessibility. We check our website and apps for barriers. Where we find barriers, we remove them. We train our employees to notice barriers.

Our goal is to offer all content and functions without barriers. We develop new products with a focus on accessibility.
